Patty's Navy Retirement Ceremony
McDill AFB
Tampa, FL
A Navy retirement ceremony is a formal military tradition honoring a sailor’s years of service. The ceremony features the official party’s arrival, career highlights, medal presentations, and the reading of retirement orders; and concludes with "piping ashore," where the sailor departs their final career watch.
